A Notice to US Customers

Please be aware that U.S. tariff policies are subject to change at any time. If you are a buyer based in the United States, we strongly recommend staying informed about the current tariff rates imposed on imports from China.

Where We Ship From

All orders placed on MoliFX (this website) are shipped from our warehouse in Shenzhen, China, with our company headquarters located in Shanghai. Once your package departs China and arrives at U.S. Customs, the courier (FedEx, UPS, or DHL) will typically contact you via email or phone to arrange customs duty payment.

Current U.S. Tariff Rates on Our Products

As of now, most items sold by Inthemask are subject to a combined U.S. import tariff rate of approximately 20%–30%, with a minimum duty of $25 USD. However, imports below value of $800 being exempt from extra taxes is still in effect till 2 MAY.  

For example, if you purchase a mask priced at $400 USD with $100 USD in shipping, the total declared value will be $500 USD. Based on this amount, the U.S. Customs duty may range from $100 to $150 USD, depending on the classification.

To avoid higher taxes, it is suggested that you split the order into 2 or more to prevent the 800 USD cap. For instance, you can split an order that contains 1 breastplate, 1 vagina pant and 1 mask into 2 plus 1, whichever way it is below the cap. 

We've also seen cases where UPS charges more than DHL upon arrival, in terms of handling fee, warehousing, etc. Please add a note to the order if you wish to have a specific courier to take care of the delivery.

What We’re Doing to Help

We are committed to keeping our pricing fair and transparent. To minimize the impact of these tariffs on our U.S. customers, we have negotiated new shipping terms with FedEx, UPS, and DHL to lower international shipping costs wherever possible. This is our way of helping offset the increased import duties.

Still, there are some workarounds. 

• You can split your orders to avoid hitting the 800 USD cap. Please take shipping into account too. 
• We can prepare the proforma invoices and the digital form for you and declare them at a lower price.
• We can use invoices to optimize the payments.

Buyers Outside the United States

Currently, China’s export tariff policies for regions outside of the United States remain unchanged. If you are located outside the U.S., your purchase will not be affected by the recent U.S. tariff increases imposed by the Trump administration.
